God is our Loving Heavenly Father

God is our loving Heavenly Father.  We are spiritual sons and daughters of God.  He loves us so very much.  He wants to hear from us through sincere prayer.  He has a perfected glorified body.  We are created after the image of God.

Before we came to earth, we lived with God.  We wanted to become like Him, but we could not become like Him as we were.  Heavenly Father presented a plan: we would come to earth, get a body, be tested and have hard times, have choices to see if we would follow Him, and a Savior would be provided.  Our Savior would overcome sin, weaknesses, death, and all imperfections.  We could return and become like Him if we exercised faith in Jesus Christ and lived according to the principles of His gospel.  We knew it would not be easy, but it would be worth it.  We chose to follow His plan.

I know that God loves us very much!  He hears and answers sincere prayer.  There is a way provided to get back to live with Him.  He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, who performed the atonement and conquered death.  We must have faith in Him, repent of our weaknesses, be baptized by proper priesthood authority, receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, and then faithfully follow Him until the very end of our lives.  I know that if we do this, we will live with Him again!
